I could not put this book down. I have not experienced the type of domestic violence Mary has gone through but I believe many people experience pain, darkness, and brokenness. The healing journey from those dark places that is only made possible by God's patient and unfailing love is clear and beautifully told. If the circumstances of life have ever made you feel broken and unworthy I would highly recommend this book. It also gave me a much clearer understanding of domestic violence.Product details

Very brave to share her story!
Mary's story had me on the edge of my seat. I seriously had to check my blood pressure and take a breather. And this is a true story. You won't believe what she suffered. I praise God that she made it out alive and that she is living out her Cinderella happily-ever-after ending today. This work will be a huge encouragement to anyone living through domestic violence.
This book is both heartwarming and harrowing. It will keep you wanting to finish it all in one day, but take a break. It's intense. There is good information on HOW to get out of a marriage that keeps you tied by fear, and it more appropriately gives hope to those who are timid or who have begun to believe abuse is warranted or necessary to keep your relationship with God strong. Don't believe it. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and to destroy. Mary's book points the way to the light at the end of your long tunnel, and it also explains why women often don't try to leave an abusive relationship. By all means, read this book if you've ever wondered.
Sorry I waited so long to read it...Read it in less than 3 hours...My heart broke for Mary and her daughter and the hell they went thru to escape the abuse, all while her ex got a slap on the wrist...This is a must read for anyone going thru abuse and are afraid to leave...Kudos for Mary for reliving her hell for us to read...so glad she's getting her happily ever after with Kevin...
Anyone whose been through or knows someone who is a victim of Domestic Violence, needs to read this one. There really is HOPE at the end of the violence. I know this author personally and she is an example of Grace and Love in action. A Victorious overcomer, both she and her daughter Amanda, have chosen to turn evil into Good and today have mentored many many victims though all the stages from escape to Victorious lives. It's her heart and can be yours also. The choice is yours... Look for her next book already in editing, and her third is in motion of being written...
