Unfaithful Servant tells the story of Jack Harris, recently retired CIA officer, and Frank Warren, FBI agent and Jack’s childhood friend. When they were boys, Jack and Frank witnessed a murder and after a terrifying confrontation with the killer, they made a vow to each other of secrecy and fealty.
Last based in Baghdad, Jack Harris lost his fiancé, an army major, to a landmine explosion on the road to Fallujah. The Humvee she was driving did not have sufficient armor. Known for fearlessness and brilliant tradecraft, Jack retires to America. Terrorist bombings, including an attack on the Statue of Liberty, raise suspicions in Frank Warren that his friend is behind them. He wants to know why. The two meet for a game of golf. Invoking the “Boathouse Vow,” Frank demands to know where Jack is going with these attacks. He will learn by the end of the game.
Unfaithful Servant is a fast paced thriller that examines the potential for a single person to change the course of world events.

Worst thriller I've read, out of 160, on Kindle. Rife with typos and inconsistencies, even corrected text is shown with proof reading marks left in! One small example of inconsistency includes the author's not even being able to remember whether one of his two prime characters has a Buick or a Ford station wagon, from chapter to chapter.The author succeeds in getting his political statement across (ad nauseum) but leaves the reader hanging with only his message and no real conclusion to the story. The initial plot was innovative, but execution was extremely poor and it grew worse as each page unfolded.

His friend from childhood, Frank Warren, is an FBI agent. As events unfold rapidly, Frank suspects Jack's hand in the attacks. A vow made between the men when they were boys after a terrifying incident will be invoked to reveal Jack's secret and the reasons for his involvement . Author Casey brings his signature character analysis and knowledge of aviation to point up the action. UNFAITHFUL SERVANT stands beside the best examples in this genre.
